For April (I originally intended to do this every 4th of the month — I am only a day late, in fairness :P)
Today…
Outside my window…The sun is up and I can feel the glare of the sun reflecting on our tiled floors. It is really summer!
I am thinking…About our schedule now that the kids are on vacation. We are out every single day and have family activities during the weekends. It can get tiring (and expensive, no matter how you budget things), but I AM ABSOLUTELY LOVING IT. We have decided this year family comes first on top of everything else, and we have been blessed more than ever.
I am thankful for…The Little Things that help me. I am thankful for our househelp, who cooks for us, does the laundry and keeps the house in top shape so I can work in peace, play with my kids and have time to rest. I am thankful for my husband, who takes care of all the things I cannot do for the family. I am thankful for my parents’ continued good health. My Dad has been an absolutely jolly person after his procedure. We also have been getting together every weekend after that. It has made us all realize that life is short and we need to make time being together – we don’t know when life ends.
From the kitchen…Adobo with Yummy Macaron soup aka sopas (I think this was also our menu this day last month!).
I am wearing…Shorts and a tank top.
I am creating….Technically, NOTHING. My mojo needs to rest as I finished a 50-page album for a client last Friday and I.am.burned.out. But I am organizing my supplies and pictures and hope to create some pages by the end of the week.
I am going…To the bank and to Swim Class again today.
I am reading…Kathryn Stockett’s The Help.
I am hoping…That my health issues resolve itself on its own. But I need to take care of myself. I know that.
I am hearing…Anime movies running on the background.
Around the house…Edil is working on his laptop, I am working, Matthew is watching anime movies, Marts is still asleep and our househelp is preparing our breakfast.
One of my favorite things…Coffee, especially if it’s from home away from home.
A few plans for the rest of the week: It’s Tuesday. Ultreya Night at the Shrine. Kids finish swim class this week. I am still undecided whether to let them rest first or enroll them in Taekwando class or the McD’s Kiddie Crew. I think I will let the kids decide. We also need to find the cable for our scanner and canon projector.
A picture I love:
My daughter is good!
