creative projects aggietha

I’d like to think I’m on a creative kick lately 🙂

My next project would be the holiday album that has been in progress since last year – this is going to be a big one, because it is special – the holidays for us began in October, going through Thanksgiving, Halloween, a sportsfest and the traditional Simbang Gabi before Xmas itself. I want to have them all in one album because it holds such special meaning into our lives. Finally I was able to get a crack on it.

I feel the events prior to December were kinda disjointed and I struggled for uniformity and consistency and yet trying to make sure that Thanksgiving felt like Thanksgiving (You know what I mean?) – I have already decided a look on the album I want to achieve so it was extra hard for me to keep everything consistent (story of my life).

But when December rolled in – I was back in business. I just love scrapping about the holiday season (even if I actually do not finish them on time!) – I’ve completed our 2007 and 2010 albums so 2008 and 2009 are on my priority list.I promise myself I will get this album finished this month and I have been working on it, little by little before buckling down to go to work and check out the acme thread.

I have my favorite spreads – but I’ll share it with you once I get to decide which Xmas papers I will use. But for now, take a look at Hello December:

I am using Anna Aspnes’ 8×8 MultiFoto Template Albums 1 & 2 (available at Oscraps).
I group events in a folder, decide how many spreads I want, look for a template to fill them in and go with the flow. I figured I will write in journaling later – this is primarily a photo-focused album.
