30 days of lists

30

I finally did it! I actually completed a project on time – so very proud of myself. I have a problem with following through. I always start with the best intentions and then most of the time slow down, lag behind and eventually not finish anything I start, when it comes to project. Take for example taking my maternity clothes to the SAlvation Army or selling them in bulk as discount maternity clothes in ukay-ukay shops – my youngest is already 6 and it has not been fulfilled, even until now. The 12 in 12 goal list, the Photo a Day challenge – these are all things that I consciously chose to do to train me, help me learn to set a goal, make progress, accomplish, finish.

And I am actually keeping very good so far for the past three months. Once the holiday season kicks in it will get trickier so I am thinking of ways of finding balance with all my good intentions and realistic expectations. One thing I’ve realized this year is that I am not Superwoman and that I shouldn’t even try to be one. One foot in front of the other, one step at a time.

I want to do this list thing again, maybe in November and have a gratitude list, something tangible – handmade, handwritten, personal (same notebook). I have a plan of having this Moleskine notebook to be a bearer of all things 2012 somehow, albeit a little late.

Here are the rest of my pages:
