Private Pools are the Healthier Alternative
Saturday, May 22nd, 2010Swimming is good and good for you but having your own pool is definitely preferable to using public pools. When an in ground pool isn’t already constructed, above ground pools are the quick, easy, and cheap way to enjoy the benefits of a pool without the complications of construction. Using your own pool is the only way to go.
Public facilities are just that: public. Any one can use them and be there. Unsavory characters are not denied access and when you are in your bathing suit, you can feel pretty vulnerable. It isn’t hard to see why so many people are extremely self conscious in their bathing suits and having strangers judge you certainly doesn’t help. When you have your own pool, you never have to feel that way again. Even if there isn’t anyone objectionable around, kids playing Marco Polo are splashing water in your eyes, and everyone is yelling.
Having your own pool is far preferable to using public facilities. You don’t know who is or has been swimming there and what a doctor would diagnose them with. All kinds of infectious conditions are easily spread there. People who are sick use the same water you’re in and that isn’t healthy. People with skin conditions sit on the chairs and benches and spread their bacteria. Add to that that young children and babies are in the same water with their less than perfect potty skills and it’s amazing that people survive those public petri dishes. Staying at home means you know who is and is not using your pool and sharing your water.
Most people don’t know how easy it is to get a pool of their own. In ground pools are a major pain to construct and maintain. Above ground pools are the perfect solution for anyone wanting to maintain cleanliness and hygiene without the hassle.
