This is a page I made when the best acne treatments were the farthest thing from my mind. Pregnancy and afterbirth do great wonders for my skin and I never had to worry about pimples. My skin just glows! Having a kid does that to you, that is why we always refer to Martha as our precious piece of sunshine!

I should be printing brochures for a client right now but cannot help but be distracted by scrapbooking. I so want to scrap right now, my list of to-do pages is higher than me already! But I need to prioritize things and sadly, scrapbooking has to take a backseat for now (now that the mojo is overflowing!)

I had fun looking at my pictures from 2005-2007, when all we had were point and shoot cameras like olympus cameras and 2MP phone. It resulted in this layout of Matthew from his Prep school days. I also noticed that I love scrapping with boy kits which have the color red, brown and blue with stars for some reason. (Don’t the alphas rock?)

This was my first layout for the year! I cannot believe that the husband and I have been together for almost 15 years and married for almost 6! It seems I have just been looking at wedding dresses and planning our wedding. This year will be a great and risky year for us, but I know we are doing the right thing.

Who would have thought that this was actually a maternity/pregnancy kit?

This was taken when we took a good friend out for lunch and coffee and she happens to be an online friend and Martha’s godmother. I have been friends with her since 2005 and I am happy that our friendship is still going strong. I even scored an amazing deal with her iPhone last month (it is now an unlocked phone). Add to that all the other big favors and I am really thankful for her and her friendship!

This is a page I made to remind me why I do scrap and why I love making pages that tell our stories. Five years from now, my daughter will be reading her stories and OUR stories and that makes me feel so excited! Next week we will be buying our tree and will have their teeth checked, maybe even consult an implant dentist Plano for my root canal gone bad .

If you have hopped over at the LDD blog at various times during the week, you would have read and seen all the amazing layouts for Holiday Preview Week! I was luckily able to get some layouts done while looking for auto insurance quotes that will not break our pocket after adding the Acts of God clause into our contract (with all the recent flooding, we can never be too sure anymore).

It was such perfect timing too as I was able to start on documenting our Christmas 2008 album – I got four pages done! Imagine that

I have got extra time to spare today so before I do my job to research about private placement memorandum and how to go on about placing an investment, here are the costumes my children wore at Halloween. My son was an Indian Boy (not his choice but a choice made by his Dad. We don’t allow him to be scary – but I am guessing by next year we need to allow him to make decisions. He will be turning 9 this year!). My daughter was Cinderella and no amount of candy can make her go Belle (Beauty) for this one.

I have been scrapping again. Not as much and not as fast as I want to but at least I’ve covered the Halloween photos . And a few Christmas layouts from LAST year. Times leading up to the holidays can be incredibly busy and I tend to lost focus and miss deadlines a lot. It has got me thinking to reassess my commitments and make sure I don’t over commit myself – it really would not be fair for everyone. I have been slowly but surely trying to make our house a home too. It has been a LOOOOOOONG work in progress, but I am a little proud and beam a lot inside when I think about all the things I have managed to accomplish with living alone as a family. There are still a lot of things to be done which involves a lot of money but as I’ve said, slowly but surely! (like getting HAVC filters for example).

I have never done this before but I am glad I finally conquered my procastination and laziness. We made a 5×7 Shutterfly album as a birthday gift for Glo.
