SSD August Treat of the Month – Sasha Bliss

Thursday, August 5th, 2010

Before I look into the beautiful pendant lights we are going to install in my workstation, let me show SSD’s latest Treat of the Month feature. Wwe are featuring the beautiful gallery of Sasha Bliss also known as mom2peanuts in the digi-community. Sasha’s clean style is absolutely stunning, and we know you’re going to adore the way she clusters elements perfectly around her wonderful photos. As you get to know her better in this month’s Treat of the Month feature, be sure to keep your eyes open for a layout that you want to use as inspiration for a page of your own because lifting Sasha is the very first task that will earn you Sweet Reward points in this month’s portfolio! In addition to earning you a point, every layout posted in our special Treat of the Month Gallery this month will be automatically entered to win a $10 gift certificate to the shoppe! As if that weren’t sweet enough, don’t forget to look for more of Sasha’s work in the shoppe this month in our "Inspired By Sasha" templates created by Darcy Baldwin. Keep making those memories and scrap MORE!

Layout Share: Dance Marts

Friday, July 16th, 2010

Before I go look for cheap insurance offers (the husband finally agreed that we get one), here is a two-page layout I made two weeks ago. Martha loves to dance, but she has her inhibitions when performing before anyone. The only people who would see her dance are her brother, our househelp and me. So I make it a point to snap pictures everytime she dances, just to have proof that she actually dances.

When she sees somebody else is looking, she freezes!

Blessed Four

Friday, July 9th, 2010

I usually do a page or two about the kids when they reach a certain age. It has become like a tradition for me to write them a letter in the form of layout on their birthdays and I have yet to do one for my little girl, who celebrated her birthday two months ago, to the day! I take all the blame – I could have been better with my time management skills.

I was supposed to make an album for our fifth wedding anniversary and a Father’s Day album for my husband and Dad but guess what? It also didn’t materialize. All the planning for nothing! I wish I can give them expensive cigars for gifts but my Dad has not been smoking for ten years and there is nothing in the world I would rather have as a gift than to have the husband quit smoking!

At least I am consistent and updated with my little girl’s birthday pages. I don’t know how I will organize them in time I just make sure they are printed. I still have yet to tackle how to arrange all my loose layouts – those that go into ring albums. I have filled three AC 8×8 3D ring albums with around 150-200 layouts each and they are no way organized still. One of these days, I always say.

I overate during the princess’ birthday, as expected. It was also Mother’s day that day so I get to be excused because I was also celebrating my day! I just don’t know if I will take diet pills as I’ve read scary methylburn extreme side effects. Better be overweight and alive than skinny and dead!

I Love You Tweener

Friday, July 9th, 2010

I want to share a page about my boy who is turning 10 this year. I think his hormones are-a-raging, so to speak, because everything I say ends up being miscontrued, misunderstood, met with aggression or simply ignored. This little boy surely doesn’t need the best testosterone cream as he is full of raging hormones.

We are not into the fully-phased teenage years though. He still obeys me and loves my company every now and then. I wonder how it will be three years from now when he officially becomes a “teen”.

Some Matthew Quotable Quotes

Tuesday, July 6th, 2010

Someday, I will have time to finally sit down and collate every single memorable thing my son said when he was a cute kid aged five (and below, hehehe). They are buried deep in my family blog and old LJ account – I plan to make an album of it since I suck at making him a first year album. But that, along with 20 other album projects, take a backseat as I need a virtual server to keep all my files. (I still haven’t gotten everything organized as well. I alternate between states of being extremely lazy and super stressed because I am cramming :P ). Too bad his Mom doesn’t know how to cook, sing, look sexy or even know how to make or choose the best school furniture for his room. Sorry son, I just know how to scrap :P

Layout Share: Pool Babe

I should have bought more swimming pool supplies when we went on vacation last month. It would have been better with all the picture-taking I did. I cannot wait to get my hands on the album I made with Artscow!

Layout Share: We are Getting There

Monday, June 21st, 2010

These are some pictures we took from Mother’s Day. If I weren’t looking straight at the camera, you would have thought we were caught by the security camera as we are a very undemonstrative couple when in public. But it’s Mother’s Day and the husband was extra sweet that day.
