Some More Boy Pages

Thursday, March 18th, 2010

I think I did a good job documenting my little boy this month. Actually, he really is not a little boy anymore. He eats like a wolf and still does not gain a ounce of weight. If he continues to be like this, he will be a tall and lanky teenager needing muscle supplements!

These pages are part of his school album that I finished this month.

SSD really has awesome boy kits – it’s quite a misconception that SSD only has pretty girly kits. While that is true, there are an abundance of boy kits all the time. They only tend to get overshadowed because who couldn’t resist cute girly stuff?

2 Many Photos?

Thursday, March 18th, 2010

Have you ever had the problem of having too many photos and you are at a loss on how to scrap them? I used Janet Phillips’ 2 Many Photos Templates for my son’s school album. He is turning the magnificent ten this year and I am planning a really nice gift for him. Pretty soon he will be needing adult acne treatment and scrapbooks might be too mushy for him (He doesn’t want to take pictures even, at this age!) so I will soak up all the attention he gives me whenever he pulls out an album and reads it again and again.

Here are a few pages:

Paislee Press’ Off To Press

Tuesday, January 19th, 2010

I am so inspired with Liz Tamanaha’s goal of printing her pictures into a book this year. Nothing gives a more natural high than seeing all your pages in real life. While I no longer have backlogs on pages I made, I have to admit that I have tons of pictures to print. Here is her workflow and project plans, may you be inspired as well.

And just in time she released the Off To Press templates,

I love the first set, I wish I can get both but we need to replace the air filter at home.

I am also helping out a friend scout disneyland hotels as her family will be making a trip next year!

Such a Nice Gift.

Sunday, April 26th, 2009

I first met Diane, a fellow Bebot, last week, at Trinity’s Party. She traveled all the way from Bicol (a 12-hour ride) to Manila just to meet us AND she was the one who HAD GIFTS for us :)

What better gift than something you personally made from the heart? :)

She gave all of us a scrapbook page framed about our families :) I wanted to cry and hug her – it was really thoughtful for her to scrap it in my most favorite colors as well – pink and brown :D

Look how happy I was – and though I look so fat in these pictures, who cares, the pictures are enough to tell how happy I was :)

Thank you again Diane! I’d vastly prefer this over copper sinks :) *hahaha*

Artscow and Albums.

Saturday, February 14th, 2009

While I am up to date with printing my digital layouts for January (even printed selected 4×6 photos for the month), I’m a bit depressed that I’m not able to complete even one photobook! All those album projects not one done.

Thanks to Artscow at least I have printed pages. There are two coupon codes you might want to enter in your account, if you havent signed up yet, sign up now!

FREE600PRINTS
FREE10BKS

I would be getting these albums as soon as I can buy more 8×8 page protectors for my American Modern Crafts albums. The four existing ones I have are filled so I’m getting more with the same colors – black, brown, blue and pink. One of these days I will be sitting down and compiling my layouts – I just dont have the time right now.

They are very much in line with the concept of Library of Memories don’t you think?

Week in Review

Sunday, February 8th, 2009

Before I go search for disposable diapers online for a friend who has an elderly mom, let me hook you up with my recent Week in Review Pages. So far so good :)

I plan to do at two every other week – but otherwise I’m “caught up”. Will scrap the next two tomorrow.

All supplies are from Designer Digitals. I am so in love with Anna Aspnes’ stuff. If I can buy all her stuff, I would. REALLY. I hope I can make time to enter the DD Guest CT Contest for February. I bought some Valentine Day stuff on sale last Thursday

2009 Week in Review

Tuesday, January 27th, 2009

I have blogged about my first year-long project of the year – the Project 365. So far so good. I haven’t missed a day yet and I am caught up putting them into the simple layouts I have decided to put them into. There are days when I run out of things to take photos of and I feel that my pictures are the same day after day (I lead a boring life!) but I guess that is the challenge of the project huh? To be able to view your life through a lens. It really makes me gain new perspective on how I lead my life (and makes me want to redecorate the house real bad hehehe).

Now here is my other project. My version of taking on the impossible. I have fallen in love with Anna Aspnes’ Week in Review book ever since I saw her start posting it on her blog way back then. I e-mailed her asking if she would consider selling the book templates and she did the following year. It took me a year to muster enough courage to really commit to the project and so far, so good :D I really hope I can finish this, I can tell I will be scrapping fewer pages this year as I expect to be a lot busier so this book if completed will be able to chronicle our year fully.

More project sharing coming soon :)
