Water Purifiers

My friend and I were having a discussion over coffee about Water purifiers and how important it is to have one at home. She was reminded of the many times they had to rush her little brother to the emergency room because of stomach ache and diarrhea. The first time it happened, it was discovered that the boy was suffering from E. Coli bacteria. It was very dramatic because the pediatrician said the timing was crucial and she was glad he was rushed to the hospital because it could have been fatal. This kind of bacteria can survive in the intestines. Most types are safe but the there is one that produces a powerful toxin that affects the digestive system. This type may be borne in water and once contaminated will affect the body upon ingestion. It was then that their mom decided to buy one of those Home water filters for the assurance that every member of their family would only drink safe water. Jugs were brought from home so there was no need to buy anywhere else. My friend was convinced that if they had personal Water filters, then the trips to the ER could have been avoided. They learned their lesson the hard way.
