Dreaming of the Beach

We have record breaking temperatures here lately. The hottest day of the year, so far, was recorded yesterday, at 35.6C and it is expected to reach the 40’s by April. Talk about deadly. Friends have been talking and planning (and dreaming nonstop) of taking a vacation and just heading down the beach to cool down, make use of the sun and get tanned. While I am not a fan of the heat, I love being in the water. Plus I can see myself lounging in one of those Adirondack Chairs under a sunbrella sipping my favorite fruit shake, reading a book. That would be an awesome time for me.
