Trying to Do well in the Kitchen

I have always been vocal about my non-existent passion for cooking. In my quest for domesticity, I was able to conquer my fear and lack of love (hate is such a strong word) for laundry, washing dishes, folding clothes and even dusting. But I have never really been good at the kitchen, more specifically, with cooking. I have to be honest: It’s not something I am very good at. Aside from not being able to estimate ounces and taste seasonings, if paring vegetables and slicing stuff would be given a test, I would fail miserably. I don’t know the reason behind it is because I am left-handed or the knives we have in the kitchen are not really good. Perhaps it is a little bit of both. Since my knives are in need of replacement anyway, I am on the lookout of a new one. I have heard that spyderco knives are the best there is out there. Their models, Spyderco Endura and Spyderco Delica 4, are of very good quality, being so lightweight. You won’t actually appreciate its design at first look, but when you start to use it, you will be amazed at the ergonomic design of the handle and how sharp the blade is, with the blade not getting dull as easily.
