BB Airsoft Guns

It seems this is going to be a new addiction for men – war games commonly known as paintball for some. I didn’t even know that there were different types of airsoft bb guns! Aside from bb airsoft guns, there are also rifles and guns. It really is like a complete war game.

BB Airsoft Guns should always be quality bb gun airsoft. When putting up a team for your guns bb airsoft sport, you need to know how to maintain your equipment, care for them before organizing your team.

Good equipment is needed for combat.

So many people have been telling me how pretty you have become. Yours may not be the classic beautiful face, but it is a face which, when stared at longer, becomes more beautiful and
interesting and appealing. What you are lacking in perfect features you more than compensate with your abundant charm and radiant smile. Your face is never boring my child. I can stare at it for hours. Your eyes hold so much emotion and
mischief that they can talk by themselves. Many people comment how much you look like me, yet I see your Dad’s eyes in you. Your Dad will never agree to you
looking like me, but who cares? For as long as you are charming and pretty and cute, I don’t care. What matters is that you are my daughter and I am your mother. Your imperfections are what make you pretty honey, never think you are
different. They make you non-ordinary, they set you apart for other people. They make you unique! Embrace what God has given you and nature will endow upon you. True beauty lies inside of you. Never forget to nurture your mind and share what is there in your heart. All the time. Take care my beautiful daughter.

Battle of the Creative Teams – Round 2

Wednesday, July 29th, 2009

I have been sitting in front of the computer for more than I should stay in a day because I have been scrapping like crazy! Now I need weight loss pills because not only have I just been sitting in front of the computer all day, I have been snacking a lot too. Oh well, at least I scrapped many pages :)

The SugarBabes joined the Battle of the Creative Teams over at DigiScrapAddicts.com and we are having a blast so far. It is a contest where the team who gets the most number of votes wins so I would really really appreciate it if you take a moment to vote for us – the SugarBabes (Lynnette, Crystal, Meg, Steph and I).

You can vote on the thread here. You go to vote for your favorite store team and choose SugarBabes and that’s it!You need to be registered though but it is one quick and easy step you won’t even mind :)

You can find our week 1 entries here. For Round 2 of the Battle of the Creative Teams, the SugarBabes chose the theme “Sweet Songs” for our inspiration. Going along with the theme, we also opted to use a “sweet” themed kit to scrap with.

Take a look!

For Round 2 of the Battle of the Creative Teams, the SugarBabes chose the theme “Sweet Songs” for our inspiration. Going along with the theme, we also opted to use a “sweet” themed kit to scrap with. I chose “One Sweet Day” by the Mariah Carey and BoyzIIMen as my song inspiration. The title inspired me to make a page about a day in our life – full of sweet stuff indeed.

Bed and Breakfast

Wednesday, July 29th, 2009

I am so happy! The week started right because Mr. Creative Mojo visited me and I was able to scrap effortlessly from Monday to Tuesday and produced 8 layouts. I would have wanted to go on and just create but I need to work so we can live. My notebook is brimming with ideas again though. It has been so long since I am able to do that. I hope it doesn’t go away anytime soon too!

What has sparked this creativity? I think it has something to do with me being able to get away even for a couple of hours to be friends last Saturday. A change of environment and new company are what I needed to break the dry spell. Let’s face it, monotonous everyday living with only your kids as companions (and the husband when he comes home from work) can be tiring and not really creativity-inducing. I would really love to experience a bed and breakfast accommodation in Rome because my church friends will be going there in a few weeks but that would be pushing it.

So frequent day trips, time for myself, without the kids – these are the ones that I hold dear and consider to be needed for my sanity.

Continuing Education

Thursday, July 23rd, 2009

For months now I have been contemplating on getting a master’s degree, me who has two degrees but has never been able to practice her courses. However, studying is innate in me – I really want to learn so an Online master degree at the Gonzaga University sounds appealing. They are ranked one of the nations best universities by The Princeton Review and Forbes Magazine and is currently number 3 in the West by US News and World Report. Not many top ranking schools offer online programs most especially masters degrees but Gonzaga University gives working professionals and parents like me who are short on time to be able to get our dreams of completing a master’s degree.

I have looked for invitations Halloween ideas and googled for  party invitations Halloween types and found out I can just order them online. You should hear my sigh of relief. At http://www.invitations-shoppe.com/,  invitations party Halloween, Christmas and birthdays can be ordered and you get to have a wide variety of designs to choose from. They offer free shipping and get 10 FREE Thank You Cards as well!

It’s time for the Slogan Challenge!

Did you know that Coca-cola’s celebrating their 120th year anniversary this year? I cannot imagine life without Coca-Cola (coming from someone who drinks Coke Zero like water!) – it has been part to parties and school life ever since I was young
So my challenge is to scrap one of the slogans of Coke through the years!
You can choose from the many slogans here.

You have until July 25th, Saturday, to post a comment with your layout to this thread to earn a point towards the Sweet Rewards program!

Get scrapping!

Here are rocking example layouts (as I’ve yet to make my own!)

Battle of the Creative Teams

Monday, July 20th, 2009

So this is what I was talking about last night, I couldn’t make a post about it without the voting process beginning – because I would be asking for votes! (Before I go look for pet supplies for my landlady – she is almost 80 and has three dogs, one cat, a dozen lovebirds I think and now she wants to adopt two more stray cats!)

You can find our week 1 entries here. The challenge was to scrap using white space with the same color theme for all team mates and we came up with using pinks, greens, oranges and teals for our colors and even brought it further by scrapping with a theme: SUMMER LOVE.

Take a look!
