Mr. Sun Has Come Out!

Hurray the sun is out!! It has lifted my spirits tremendously! With the sun shining more often these days, I yearn more and more to go on a day trip with the family to the beach. I confess I hate the sun and going to the beach before, but because of the non-stop raining for the whole month of April, I have learned to appreciate sunshine. Really!

So I have been itching to go out and just travel but we still need to make sure my princess’ birthday goes off without any hitch and we complete everything they need for school before we make any travel plans.

It doesn’t stop me however from going through our cabinets and taking out summer clothes – just in case. The kids’ summer outfits and their swimsuits are actually set aside already, just in case we get called in on an impromptu trip.

I don’t have any summer clothes though, unfortunately. I’d so want to be in shorts when we go out but I’m on the heavy side so I need to be conscious of the cut and length of the shorts. This yellow J.Crew shorts is calling my name though! I saw it over at StyleHive and fell in love with it – because I love yellow and look – do you notice that the length can be lengthened or shortened without sacrificing style? I Loveee It!
