For Him and Her

We live in a city in the mountains. So even if it is summer, it is bound to get cold and windy during the afternoons until the evening. That is why whenever we go out, even if it is scorching hot outside, we never fail to bring jackets and caps, especially for the kids.

Jackets with hoods are an essential for our family. My kids hate wearing caps so hoodies are perfect for them. I think the last count I had, they have around 7 jackets/hoodies each – one for each day, in different colors. I am thankful that their aunts and uncles are thoughtful enough to give them plenty .

With the husband and I, it’s a different story. We share jackets! We are about the same size (I know, I’m big) so we share. The only downside to this is I’m stuck with blues and browns (as it is more man-friendly) as colors. So when I saw this bright yellow unisex American Apparel jacket made of fleece – my heart jumped a beat! This would be perfect for me! And I can justify the expense as it can be used by the husband too. This would look great when we go grocery shopping because I’m almost always in my track pants and rubber shoes (that’s the only time I get to wear them anyways).
