Shopping: Undergarments with a Flair

April 10, 2009 | Category: Uncategorized

I once hear from Oprah that a woman needs to change her whole underwear clothes once a year – yes, one needs to throw (and burn) them out. Of course, the special occasion ones that one gets to use once a year does not count.

I usually buy new sets of underwear every summer, whenever I get to buy new clothes for the kids too – I get them new sets of underwear (plus the husband too), so you can guess it’s going to be pretty expensive. However, I time it around the March sale where most underwear clothes are slashes to 50% off (they replace it with the new styles) so I save a lot.

While I do not have much daring underwear clothes like this La Perla bra, I make sure that I throw out ratty ones immediately. My aunt told me that I must have at least two dozen pairs of everything so it won’t get old right away and I believe her. While it might be expensive at first, I know that at least it can stay fresh for a year. Plus, a tip: always measure and try on brassieres. Because depending on the style and the girth, we are never the exact same size on bra styles ever!
