Legal Help

Tuesday, April 28th, 2009

If you, a family member, or a friend has experienced a serious personal injury or death as a result of the fault of another, a Corpus Christi Personal Injury Lawyer can help you obtain the compensation you deserve. These group of South Texas personal injury lawyers cover a wide range of areas, including auto accidents, medical malpractice, product liability, premises liability, and much more. They even give free consultation and can work with other lawyers. If you have recently been in injured, caused by the negligence of another, consult with an attorney now. They work on a contingency fee basis, meaning they accept no attorneys’ fees unless and until you get compensation.

Such a Nice Gift.

Sunday, April 26th, 2009

I first met Diane, a fellow Bebot, last week, at Trinity’s Party. She traveled all the way from Bicol (a 12-hour ride) to Manila just to meet us AND she was the one who HAD GIFTS for us :)

What better gift than something you personally made from the heart? :)

She gave all of us a scrapbook page framed about our families :) I wanted to cry and hug her – it was really thoughtful for her to scrap it in my most favorite colors as well – pink and brown :D

Look how happy I was – and though I look so fat in these pictures, who cares, the pictures are enough to tell how happy I was :)

Thank you again Diane! I’d vastly prefer this over copper sinks :) *hahaha*

Karisma Hotels

Sunday, April 26th, 2009

Try out the all inclusive mexico hotel chain called the Karisma Hotels at the Riviera Maya: El Dorado Royale Spa Resort (adults only), El Dorado Seaside Suites (adults only), Azul Beach (family-friendly) and Azul Blue (family-friendly – opening November 2006) and Hidden Beach Resort (naturalist).

I’d like to try out the Azul Blue for some me time. Azul Blue in the Riviera Maya, the world’s first stress-free hotel, opens in November 2006. You won’t remember the meaning of “stress,” “tension,” or “everyday life” after finding the vacation sanctuary that is Azul Blue. Everything at Azul Blue has been created to nurture your inner peace. Check into one of our 98 luxury suites overlooking the Mexican Caribbean and let your dedicated full-time butler unpack your suitcase and draw you an aromatic bath while you walk down to our beach and nap on one of our four poster cabana beds. Azul Blue’s dedicated spa—the most complete spa on the Riviera Maya- pampers your body with an array of soothing treatments that can be taken on-site, on the beach, or in the room. Choose from invigorating or relaxing optional activities like deep-sea fishing, cenote diving or meditation classes.

Digi Dare 130

It’s me hosting this week and I hope you get to play!

No Pictures. Just Outlines.

I have been very lax in taking pictures lately that I am having trouble scrapping – add to that is the fact that my laptop got reformatted a few weeks ago and my backup pictures are still on DVDs. So you can say I have been on a scrapping slump. But I realized why should it stop me from making pages?

So my dare for this week is to scrap a page without pictures on it – yes, no pictures. It’s up to you if you want to create a scene (fantasy scrapping), do a graphical layouts with cool typography or if you want to be dared, get a patterned paper shaped from a subject in your photo!

Dare flair:
Get an outline somewhere in your page. Be it a doodle. A stroke in your alpha, an outline of a paper piece, I just want to see an outline.

Everyone who participates this week will receive a coupon good for Leora’s store at Little Dreamer Designs.

Here is mine:

Daybed

Saturday, April 25th, 2009

imageWouldn’t you want to lie down and relax in this stylish yet functional Modern Rega daybed? I so love the design of this daybed because it resembles a modern crib for newborns in the olden days. Don’t you think so?

This is a daybed available at OpulentItems.com. Priced at $6,500.00USD, no wonder the rich and famous are the only ones that seem to buy this.

I found a similar bed like this owned by the famous couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. Brad Pitt supposedly commissioned someone to make them a bed similar to above and it was big enough for all their kids AND them to sleep in. He even had a crib made for Shiloh with the same design. He loved it so much he took it as one of the sets in the movie Ocean13.

I say, whoever designed this daybed, is now making tons of money.

This bed is actually made for outdoors, being made from weatherproof resin weave, which was woven into powder coated metal frames. The high density outdoor cushion is composed of dryfast foam and the weatherproof fabric is Sunbrella.

I can imagine falling asleep on this bed even if it’s 100 degrees out.

Exercise

Monday, April 20th, 2009

I need to really find time to move and do some exercises. I am usually just sitting all day doing work and whatever chores I do in the house is not enough for me to lose weight (even if I get so tired). What to do? Maybe I really need to let go of some responsibilities soon. I also looked at a new form of exercise called the Kettlebell exercise – my flabby arms have hope!

Write Like New

Thursday, April 16th, 2009

I love journaling on my pages. Sometimes I really get into a rut though and it drives me crazy. I spend a considerable amount making sure I print my pages and it disappoints me if I see that a page should have been better if there was a story on it. Right?

Here are some links to articles of blogs I subscribe to whose writers are GREAT journallers.
