Project 365

January 19, 2009 | Category: Album Projects

So Im officially caught up with all the buzz of taking a photo a day otherwise known as PAD (Photo a Day) or Project 365.

I really thought long and hard about this and decided to keep it low-key (so I can make sure I can last the entire year).

I’m posting my PAD photos at my Flickr and I dont post them anywhere else. I’d thought Id set up a blog for it but decided against it (I have several blogs to maintain already!) – besides Flickr can function as a blog for me as well.

So Im posting the badge on the sidebar of my blog so you can check it out from time to time if you want :) Im not an excellent photographer, my kids’ cuteness more than make up for my mediocrity however :D

Now with regards as to what I would do with them – that worried me more than not being able to take pictures everyday.

I decided, amidst all the eyecandy of kits and templates around digiworld concentrated on P365, to go graphic and simple. I used the template by Amy Pearson (from SBG) that I bought last year which is now FOR FREE at the SBG Forums (check it out) and well, I’ll just let the photos shine.

You might think what about the stories? Well, I cant tell the story with just ONE photo a day. Im not built that way (HAHAHAHA!) – all you can get are snippets. I will consider this my way to enhance my skills as a photographer for my family.

Regarding stories, that deserves another entry.

And can I just say Im so happy I was able to scrap a page that made ME happy of the turnout? LOL

Now I need to finish reading Good in Bed (the lead character is overweight and has issues and wants to take Fentraphen ~ just the tip of the story though)!
