So far so good.
I was able to upload pictures for perusing online (Flickr, still uploading). Ill do the jotting of mini stories there.
I also wrote what happened during the day on a word document.
I realized that I should have taken particular pictures but I didn’t.
No worries – I still have six days left.

For this week’s dare I want you to scrap a characteristic you have in common with someone else. Maybe you and your significant other have a shared love of something or maybe your child has picked up a trait from you. It can be good or bad, that part is up to you!
Dare Flair:
Include a photo of yourself and the person/people you share the trait with. It can be one photo of all of you or individual photos, it’s your choice.Make something go vertical. It could be your title, the journaling, whatever, just be creative!
Include repeating shapes of some kind – circles, squares, etc. You must repeat the shape at least 3 times.

Last week I managed to do some really nice layouts, if I do say so for myself So I kinda neglected blogging here. That would change this week! I promise I also lost track of my weight loss journey so I need to get back on track with that as well (with the help of a fat burner)

Most of you know I am involved with scrapbooking – it is a hobby, a creative outlet and a passion I have.
I was talking to Glo weeks before planning to buy a Bamboo Fun Tablet because my right wrist has been killing me (the vein where I had my IV inserted is still sore ~ the doctor said since IVs are plastic nowadays it will take a long time to heal. I don’t know what is the connection.)
Anyhow, since I can use the $100 on better things, I decided to submit a layout to the Wacom Pen Scrappers Contest. The 10 people who gets the most number of votes gets a Bamboo Fun so why not right? I have YOU guys to vote for me, hehehe.

My 18th birthday was the nicest surprise – my family, Edil and BNP friends had an asalto for me (sang for me on the eve of my birthday, as a surprise) and my family had a surprise party for me at Tagaytay

10. Something about you that you’re proud of? I finished two degrees even if I had a baby at 19. And that my life is OK. Even better. Because of it.
My heart is heavy. I have learned that a dear friend’s family has been involved in a vehicular accident. The car they were driving got hit by a truck and she and her two kids are still in the hospital. The hospital bills are killing them and they are finding it hard to claim for compensation from the truck company. They are kept going around in circles. It is a good thing that in Texas, there is an Austin Truck Accident Lawyer from the O’Hanlon, McCollom & Demerath law firm that is aggressively fighting for their rights. Soon.
I know we cannot predict car accidents = that is why they are called as such. But there is such a thing as responsible driving and precautionary measures that prevent these very sad things from happening. I hope everyone stays safe.
There is a new shop opening called After Five – there are new designers (mixologists) coming together with Amy Hutchinson – sounds very promising.
LDD is having its semi annual sale!
DD and WST also had their sales last week – I picked up a few things from DD (Love me some Anna Aspnes stuff).
I really should stop buying kits I need to get caught up with printing pages. My unlocked phone needs to have a new battery soon too.
Here is my submission for the Orientation Assignment:
Your assignment is to create a layout about any first!!! Ideally it would be about a first day of school whether it’s your child’s first day or one from your academic career..but not required.
What is required is that the layout contain the following:
* at least one JWD Academy product
* 1 large photo and 2 detailed cropped photos
* One sentence that sums up the emotion of the day/moment
Im going to be doing the Arithmetic assignment next – all about numbers – FUN! (sarcastic tone here).
PS. Any recommendations for weight loss pills?
I have read the blog comments and it really is making people antsy But yes it will all be worth the loooooooooooooooong wait. Can you believe Miss Mint just revealed her face to us a few days ago? And yes, that is all Im telling as well
In other news, I have a lot of things to work with today. Im frantically wanting to get it all done by today as Edil goes home tonight – but I know that will be shooting for the moon. On my long list for today is to get some groceries (and look for weight loss supplements) done, finish all blogging assignments (only got a few – very manageable) and launch the AWK series again -these are all tied up with scrapping. I need to finish my Dare layout today too.
So what am I still doing here? LOL
