SSD’s From Our Blog To Yours

Your Spelling is Good

You got 9/10 correct.

Your spelling is generally pretty decent. You are prone to a few mistakes, but the mistakes you make are pretty forgivable.

How’s Your Spelling?

And with that Im off to the mall to look for bed liner sheets for our bed!

I need a day for myself.

So I can actually scrap.
*sigh*

Sweet Keepsakes at SSD!

Going hybrid is going to be so much easier and sweeter with this new product line from SSD!

sss3-22sweetkeepsakes.jpg

I am seriously so excited for this! Scrapping is this exciting for me as people who are hooked with the beer pong table are - they make me deliriously happy!

I just put in my order and hopefully I can get them by Wednesday. Now I just need to scout for a reliable but cheap printer to print out my projects. Any recommendations? I think Ill just go with a cheap one for now and if the bulk increases Ill just upgrade next year. I still plan to have my layouts professionally printed so all the hybrid just goes to the printer :)

FoodConnect.com

Along with Easter comes my newfound goal to really eat healthy this time. I have been saying this since the start of the new year but kept slacking. I think Easter is the perfect time - new life, new season = all the more adaptable to change. So I have been looking for healthy and new recipes to keep me going and I discovered this web site: http://www.foodconnect.com. It is a heaven for people looking for good and nutritious food like me!

What does it do?

Well, if you are hooked on Facebook, consider it like a growing network of foodies (food lovers). You get to swap, exchange or upload your own recipes - and get this, they get analyzed for nutritional content FOR FREE! You get to add recipes you like into your favorites and from there you can plan your menu. Yes, they have a menu planner! Once you plan yours, you can now get a shopping list from the menu - they can do it for you as well! Meal planning has never been easier!

I tell you, I am loving FoodConnect! I want to try this recipe: Linguine with Scallops since I love pasta!

Post-Processing Tips.

I need to make sure I have this bookmarked.

As soon as I have G, I can fully customize my Firefox browser, install all my actions and just be OC the way I am. I cant wait :)

Edil has been trying to lift weights again. He does it every other day, thanks to owning strength equipment at home. With my in-laws migrating to the US a week ago, he got some nice gym equipment from them as a going away present. These are the ones found in their house which no one would actually need so they decided to give it to Edil.

The 12/12 Idea

So what do you think of getting 12 layouts in 12 months every 12th day?

Great idea.

Let me see if I have 12 pictures from January to March so I can use this.

My cousins are now staying at various hotels in Las Vegas after watching the Pacquiao-Morales game. Happy gambling! LOL

Sugar Free Challenge #39 Unlucky 03/19/08

I’m sure we all felt unlucky one way or another. We have felt that the world is out to get us sometime or that anything that can go wrong can only happen on that day.

I want you to scrap it! It maybe as mundane as what I have done scrapping a day I felt unlucky or a string of events or your feelings towards a situation.
Here is mine:
03-19 Unlucky

Once you’ve completed your layout, post it in the medicare insurance next week - wish us luck! We need it! LOL

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

I want to post my layout in time for St. Patty’s Day but with the rate Im going I doubt it will get done in time, LOL. So let me wish you luck!

And check out these links for awesome freebies and deals!
Heather Roselli’s lucky gift.
Jen’s relaunch of her Creative Blog.

May your luck be plenty, your wealth be many and you would not need the assistance of a Pennsylvania personal injury lawyer! (That sounds so cheesy!)

Have fun!

PBX and Avaya.

Are you familiar with these names? They are small business phone systems that call centers usually use to conduct business. I am very familiar with one as I work in the outsourcing business. The Avaya is your friend! :) Now that I coach agents and am off the phone, the Avaya has become my keeper for time — gotta love flexibility :)

Lil Pixie Fairy

I’m on a roll this weekend. I finished four layouts in a day, and all the pages took less than an hour! Of course, Im not ashamed to admit I used a Quick Page with one but at least I got the story down. The longest layout was this one since I had to paste the wings digitally and it took me a lot of erasing and blurring to get it right. I also struggled with putting more or doing less but then just did what first came to mind. The layout was done using Dani Mogstad’s collab kit with the Shabby Miss Jenn - the Vintage Garden Fairies. It’s too bad I need to work because I want to scrap some more :D

Investing on Gold.

I have always wanted to have gold jewelry. I have always known that they make such a great investment. If you want to buy them in coin forms, you can do so through the Monex Deposit Company (MDC). You can purchase gold or other precious metals for immediate personal delivery or arrange for convenient and safe storage at an independent bank or depository. For over 30 years, the Monex companies have been America’s gold and precious metals investment leader. It has been a recognized way of measuring wealth ever since. So what better thing to invest on than gold, right?

SSD Saturday!

sss3-15.jpg

I just love SSD Saturdays!! I picked up Julie’s YesterYear: Baby Collection:

And this awesome Cross My Heart element pack:

It’s not often that designers come up with items that can help one scrap about their Faith so this is perfect! Look out for it at a challenge near you soon :)

Shutterfly Project for this Weekend.

Well, tonight actually.

I plan to finally sit on this looooooooooooooooooong project in the works.

lt148425.jpg

I already have the pictures (for both of the kids). I just need to be eager enough to do some post processing (A LOT with scanned pictures!).

Up next would be the 1st birthday books for them - Im going to do it BRAG BOOK style so it is easier for me. Plus the first birthday is the most important anyways. Ill have three (or even a page) for each succeeding birthday. Im so psyched up because Im reading Stacy Julian’s Big Picture Scrapbooking these days. (The first birthday books will from the SSD Shoppe - Ill link you guys later!)

Going Hybrid.

I finally ordered this:

cropadile.jpg:

I also got this and this, and hope they will arrive next week.

*sigh*
Scrapping is so addicting! If there were drug rehabs that involved scrapbooking (and scrap shopping), Im sure I would have been forcibly admitted by my husband! LOL

I Love This Girl So Much

03-14 I Love This Girl So Much, originally uploaded by aggietha.

I decided to scrap with non-CT stuff the other night so I can justify purchases I made. I find that I always always go to Jen Wilson. I find that I can use her stuff easily and without effort, and for someone like me who doesnt really want to dwell too much on making one, that’s awesome.

I wanted to scrap these nice pictures of Edil and Martha. I think Agnes was the one who took these pictures because I dont remember seeing them like this. Little girls are always Daddy’s girls. Edil has a soft spot for her daughter talaga.

Free Spirit

Using the Flickr option to blog from there.

I love Dani Mogstad’s kits. I make it a point to get each one she has out as soon it hits SSD. This one is no exception. Her kits even make me use them twice, a rare feat (I only do layouts more than once for Kay Miller and Mary Fran because their kits are packed).

Anyway, Im now planning something so I can use them again, like making sure the kids wear something with the color combo during Easter :)

Used Engines

Buying used cars isnt really something that is deemed non-profitable. Engines of cars can be checked and replaced and if you really have patience to find a good deal, you will be able to. At midwest auto recycling, you will be to get used engines and transmissions and never be bothered because they have the strongest warranty nation wide. All mileages in the cars are CARFAX verified and all the engines come as a complete assembly. They are started ,inspected for compression, cylinder leak down tested, checked for oil pressure and cleaned. ALL TRANSMISSIONS are test driven, visually inspected and cleaned.
