Have you been to the NitWit Shop?

CT Mary Fran Little Men

Mary Fran Lil Tracks

I still remember the day I received the PM from Mary Fran asking me to be on her team. I was so surprised and flattered! I have never sent her an e-mail asking to be on her team so I was really shocked. And honored that someone like her would pay attention to my gallery.

Now on to her gorgeous, gorgeous products! If you get one of her kits, you will be amazed by the quality of cute stuff it has! All those stuffed quilted elements – it really looks like the real thing! And with each collection, I really believe you can build one whole album.

Stop by at Nitwit today :)
You wont be disappointed!

SongBird Blinkie

Did you read the blinkie? Design + Charity = Happiness

dreamsicle.jpg

This month’s guest designer is Robin Carlton and she chose to have the Make A Wish Foundation as the recipient of the proceeds of this month’s kit! I have made it a point to buy Songbird Avenue’s monthly kits so I can somehow help and still feed my shopping addiction to digital kits. You wont be disappointed on this kit – it is huge, fun, whimsical and very very pretty!

I hope you help make a wish come true by buying the kit for a limited time only this month!

SSD Recipe Challenge: Go Alpha Crazy!

Monday, August 27th, 2007

One of the exciting things for me being a SugarBabe is being able to head challenges over the Sweet Shoppe. Im now going to be permanently alternating with Sugarbabe Karen for the Recipe Challenge, and Im actually keeping tabs on what I can use for challenges.

Here is my first challenge to cook up a sweet layout – USE ALPHAS! Alphas are the main anchors to get the subject of your layout across. So go crazy with them, use four or more!

Credits here.

Link of the challenge is here.

Cant wait to see what you come up with!

SSD’s Spin a Lift Sunday

Monday, August 27th, 2007

I got to host the SSD’s Spin a Lift Sunday two weeks ago.

LO272 Best Cousins Forever

Credits here.

I chose to lift one of the layouts from the gallery of our newest Sugarbabe, Cindy S! I fell in love with her style and use of elements in a cohesive way. I actually have many of her layouts for future lifting already!

I have gotten many compliments on the conversion of the photos – I used Itty Bitty actions there :)

Mailing Lists

Monday, August 27th, 2007

A successful business needs to have an efficient mailing system. TheMailing List system has been greatly improved by Martin Worldwide. It is one of the largest and most successful mailing list providers in the US, offering customized mailing lists, telemarketing lists and fax lists to its clients – which range from the small businesses to Fortune 1000 clients. They own a database which has over 290 million customers and 14 million US businesses. One of their most successful products is ResponseCom. This is a blend of US Response and Consumer databases that has been a special synthesis of the two – it is the most powerful database that accurately identifies prospects with the most active, responsive and most potential buying history.

Let’s Go Bullet Points.

  • I got extremely lucky last month – I got to be in the creative teams of Mary Fran of Nitwit Collections and Kay Miller
  • I have not really shopped this month as Im saving for a new lens for the xTi and printing my layouts (270 plus and counting).
  • I have backed up my files so far – I need to get an EHD though as I want them to be all in one place.
  • A huge event coming soon to SSD and LDD:
    Stand Up and Scrap

This is going to knock your socks off!

  • Backed Up.

    Sunday, August 26th, 2007

Finally caught up. Im done backing up files for this month.
Im now downloading super mega nice kits from my teams and Im running a list of scrappables tonight – I hope I can really scrap! I have some really nice news and layouts to share (I hope), but time is my enemy for now. I will be back for more scrap news! Stay tuned! Maybe Id get a picture of my organization in backing up files too!

    Investing on Silver

    Sunday, August 26th, 2007

A little trivia for you today – which has more value, gold or silver? These two precious metals are the leading investment products among all metals. They are generally available for purchase in coin or ingot form. Ingots are the basis of coin values and are pure bullion cast in a shape convenient for use. According to analysts, there is a great investment opportunity to be found in silver these days as the demand for is has increased because it is now exceeding annual production (the demand for it) since 1990. Add to that is the fact that the supplies for silver bullion are low. Proof of which is the US government, they used to be a silver hoarder but now is a silver buyer. Precious metals can be bought at the Monex Precious Metals Company.

    Where Have I Been?

    Saturday, August 25th, 2007

It seems I might have dropped off the face of earth huh? Im so sorry for not being able to update this as much as I want to, as I’ve been very busy. This is not to say that I havent been scrapping, because I think I have produced more layouts than ever, being able to work for such great creative teams! I have so many news, scrapping wise, and layouts to share. I also would like to use this blog as a tool to dissect what I am loving about this hobby and my growing interest in photography. Im doing a book review but it has been saved in My Drafts folder for five days already. Hopefully before the week ends, it will be shown in the blog!

    I WILL BE BACK!
